I have been home for the last two months working full-time with the Buffalo Dream Center. It has been an exciting and powerful summer! There are so many great testimonies from the things that God has done. For example, there was a little girl who came to our Kidz Club program with cerebral palsy. This caused half of her left arm and most of her left hand to be completely paralyzed. After we preached the Gospel, this little girl received Jesus in her heart. I had the opportunity to minister to her some more and pray for her arm and hand. She was immediately touched by God and started moving her arm and fingers in ways she could not before. This eight year-old girl started to cry once she realized what Jesus had done for her. That was a miracle from heaven! Another amazing testimony happened while we were doing home deliveries of groceries for people who are unable to leave their homes due to their health. We knocked on a lady’s door who was still recovering from a surgery that she had three months prior. I asked her a simple question. I asked, “How can I pray for you today?” The lady started to cry her eyes out and she opened her heart to us. She said that she has been having thoughts of killing herself and that she had felt empty and alone. After ministering to her for a few minutes, she said a prayer with me. She gave her life to Jesus right there in her doorway! All summer we saw people healed, set free, and saved. It was such a privilege to be able to come home and be a part of what God is doing in Buffalo at the Buffalo Dream Center.
September 6th I take off for Central America again. I will be there for three months. Most of that time I will be in the nation of Honduras. The first three weeks of ministry we have three different groups that will be joining our team. The missionary groups will include Americans, Canadians, Guatemalans, and Hondurans. We will be working and ministering in cities, villages, mountains, a rainforest, and in towns together. One of the things I’m extra excited about is the ministry we will be doing to reach the next generation. We are holding seminars for young believers who want to reach their generation with the Gospel but do not know how. We will be training them and equipping them to go into their nation and win souls for the Kingdom of God. We will also be doing evangelistic youth crusades in one of the cities we are visiting. We are expecting God to do great things. Reaching and training up my generation is a huge desire of mine because we are the next generation and we need to be ready. Something else that we will be doing to reach the next generation are children’s festivals. We will be working alongside Feed the Hungry to conduct three children’s festivals in which we will have fun and preach the Gospel to about five hundred children at each event. God is raising up a generation of children and young people in Honduras who are going to win their nation for Jesus.
After ministering in the cities we will be focusing on the more remote and unreached places in Honduras. As always we will be going to Montaña de La Flor to preach the Word of God and bring supplies to all the different feeding programs that we have started. There are now a total of eight feeding programs in the mountain. Every program is in a different remote village. Now hundreds of people are getting a nutritious meal more than once a week. With the missionary groups we will algo be returning to La Moskitia which is an island in the middle of a rainforest. It is going to be an adventure as always! Lives will be changed, bodies will be healed, people will be set free, and lost souls will be found.
After the mission teams go home I will be staying in Central America until the beginning of December. I will not be by myself. I will have a team of four to five people. We will continue the work in the mountains. We will also be ministering to youth in different churches and cities. We are also planning on spending time in El Tizate, the place where we originally wanted to plant a church. Because of the direction the ministry “Love Honduras” is going in right now, we will not be focusing on planting a church there this year but we will continue to go and minister to the people, strengthening our relationships with them. Later I will send out another update with more details of what we will be doing in October and November. I have enjoyed my time at home, but I am so excited to head back out of the mission field!
There are two ways you can be a big part of what God is going to do in Central America the next three months. First of all, you can pray for us and the teams. Pray for protection, miracles, favor, and for a great harvest of souls! Secondly, you can sow a seed into the trip by giving so we can reach more people with the gospel. You can give by going to the home page of my website http://mikaylaworldmissions.org/ and clicking the button that says “support”. Thank you for reading my update! God bless you! ❤️
