Opportunities to do ministry and preach the Gospel have been given to me a lot these last few weeks! Which is exciting because that’s exactly what I’ve been praying for.
Once again I preached in House of Refuge, and many people were set free and touched my the power of God, including the woman who was translating for me. Chains were broken off of people’s lives after the Word of God was preached. It was a powerful service that also touched me personally to see how many lives can be changed when the presence of God invades a place. House of Refuge services happen twice a week, and in every service God is doing amazing things!
About a week ago there was a women how had pain all down her back, I put my hands on her back and prayed. Later she said, “I felt fire where your hands were, and now there is no more pain.”
I had the honer to help another local missionary in Guatemala with his children’s feeding program. I went with one of my best friends and we helped serve the children and then just spent time with them showing them the love of Jesus, and we helped put on a small program for the kids to enjoy and learn about God. I always enjoy going to this school, and I plan on going again while I’m here. The children are so loving and we always have so much fun with them.
Preaching in El Shaddia church is always an honor for me. I love how Pastor Jamie and Pastor Lorena give me the opportunity to preach to the people in their church at such a young age. I preached about, living for Jesus and dying for Jesus, about giving God your life and your death. God gave me words for many of the people and He spoke to many hearts. He is always faithful, and He never disappoints us!
While I’ve been here I have also been very involved in the youth group in El Shaddia. A lot of the youth have become my best and closest friends. Their hunger for God has been growing and growing since I’ve been here, and that’s something that gets me very excited to see. Just knowing that I can be a part them growing closer to God is an honor.
